Papa Jack
We love you dearly. You are in so much pain right with Shingles and the kids are just dying to see you. Haley draws you pictures daily and Cody has asked his Sunday School class to pray for you each week. You have influenced so many people's lives in such a positive way, we can only learn from you. It's such a scary thought that one day you will no longer be here on earth with us, but I am reminded to enjoy every day we have with you and I have the hope of knowing you know the Lord. You are a joy and an inspiration to me. Life is short, I am sure you would be the first to say that even 80+ years seems to go by too quickly.
Something that has been so very heavy on my heart is the need to let each person in our lives know how much we love them. We never know when our last day here on earth will come, for some it comes sooner than others, while some of us are blessed with 80 years of life. Some of us are just blessed to be alive. Baby Travis was given a second chance at life and for that I am so very grateful. I have been following the life of a lady named Christina who recently lost her little boy named Judson, she is a believer and has the hope of the Lord. She is in deep mourning but still manages to thank the Lord for who He is and what He is doing in her life. So that I will never forget to hold every day captive and treasure every moment I have with my kids and with my family, here is a link to Judson's story. She doesn't know me and I never met Judson, but he has touched my life in a very deep way.
