The best Mother's Day yet.

Mother's Day was more than a day for me this year, it was a weekend. Saturday Haley and I went to a Tea Party at church, that was a lot of fun! It was a special time for her and I, if only I wasn't coordinating it. I wish I could have spent a little more time focusing on her, next year I will plan it better. Even still we had a great time. There were 50 people there, all celebrating the joys of being a little girl.

Sunday morning I woke up to Haley trying to whisper "Daddy, Daddy...WAKE UP! We have to make Mommy breakfast. I have a lot to do this morning and I am running out of time. WAKE UP!" I pretended to be asleep. :) That is until I realized Jeremy wasn't going to get up, I nudged him and gently asked him to wake up and help Haley. Ok so... I punched him in the arm and told him he better get up so she isn't crushed. They made me the most delicious chocolate chip pancakes. I got 4 cards, 3 from Haley. She loves to draw and write. Cody said "I know it's just scribble scrabble but you'll like it". Of course I loved it. He did manage to draw a very nice heart. We then got ready for church and headed off.

After church insanity struck Jeremy and he offered to watch my friend Adriane's kids as well as our own so we could get away for the afternoon. Her husband had to work that day. So he had 7 kids ALL BY HIMSELF! The oldest is 7 years old. He is the best husband EVER. I love him and appreciate him so much. I came home to a house that literally looked like it had been turned upside down, but there were no injuries and everyone was fed and happy. It was a great day!

Also, it struck as the best Mother's Day ever because my family feels complete. I have a sense of peace knowing all the children the Lord is going to bless us with are here in our arms. Thank you Lord for the mighty responsibility you have given us, but even moreso for the incredible blessings. I love being Mommy.
